My rifle is old and I've shot it for a long, long time. The O ring seems to be severely worn down and I think it is affecting the accuracy.

There are a couple of draw backs to this idea. First the unpleasant and possibly unsafe nature of having your mouth so close to the muzzle and second I'm not certain that this is an effective test. B/c the pessure of the spring gun is so high the seal may leak, but not at the few psi w/ which one can blow into the muzzle.

Seals can be purchased from Gamo. Some other manufacturers are difficult to purhase from.

The easy way is to put a small square strip of waxed paper between the barrel block and the breach, put a pellet in it and fire the rifle if you have a nice clean hole everything is great, if it's blown all to crap you have a problem with the seal.
