All this talk about the squirrel population booming went in one ear out the other, until my in laws called and asked if I would come by to rid there bird feeders of a "few" pest. Of course being the loving son in law I am I said yeah (hell yeah!) When I arrived armed with my ole school benji, hunter 220,(both .177) a tin of eun jins and a tin of predators, I was very surprised and drooling to say the least. Entering the back gate, one was helping herself to a delightful assortment of mixed seed. I also counted 9 in an old oak and 4 in a near tall pine. None had missed a good meal. Since I was not in the back woods but rather the suburbs, I had to make clean shots with thick limbs as my only back drop. The one problem was the rats picked up on this and used to there advantage. Didn't get to share my lead with as many as I hoped, but I had a blast and eradicated a few vermin. I'll see how my lil buddies are doing next weekend. Enjoy!
