I thought I would share this with the group.. recently I brought home a few air rifles that I had not tried before... a Beeman R7 and a Diana RWS 34 Panther... the quality of both was obvious.. nice wood and fit and finish. They were both solid and much quieter than my Gamo Shadow Sport.. no recoil and no twang... I knew the Gamo trigger was awful but had no idea how awful until I tried these.. .what is Gamo thinking??? I used the same pellets for all and easily kept both of them in a 2" black bull at 25 yds.. all in all a very enjoyable experience with these rifles... after i was done I brought out my Gamo and found that it was the equal of the others!!! yes, the trigger is awful but i've adapted to it and get great results.. so the Gamo is really pretty good.. a little twangy maybe but despite that awful trigger it is very capable of good shooting.. maybe a new trigger is in order here....
my gamo and set my stock trigger right and the gun is amazing . The trigger is fine now with a 8.2 meisterkugln. rats drop daily from 60 ft [IMG][/IMG]
