Does anyone know which other stocks are interchangeable with a Big Cat? Will Hunter 220, 440 or 1250s fit? Or stutzen? Next...does anyone have one for sale? larspawn@ameritech.net

any gamo that advertises 1000fps w/lead and 1200fps with pba will fit(exclude the 1250 and the cfx stocks). the newer style hunter and viper stocks will not fit perfectly, only difference is that on the newer stocks they have a more ergonmically curve shaped end cap, your big cat has the older designed end cap on it, unless you can obtain the newer one, it will.

After reading this post, I emailed customer service at Gamo to inquire about a possible replacement stock for my Whisper....I'm not crazy about synthetic stocks on any gun and thought I might check out a wooden version from some other gun....according to them, nothing else fits....bummer. Have you tried mounting different stocks on any of the guns you mentioned? I sure would like to try the Hunter stock.......

gamoUSA use wont sell you one. they wont sell the newer style of stocks yet. i have a viper express that i despise very much and so i stuck my big cat's action into it. it does fit. all i did was pull off the bigcats original end cap and put the express's new style cap onto the bigcat, dropped it in the viper's stock and bolts up same as all the other gamos. they(gamoUSA) are telling to turn around and go back the same way where ya came from thats all. they won't even sell you the cocking lever rollers or the o-ring for the cfx's rotary breech loader. check out T.W. chambers in england. if they don't have it yet, they will have it soon. they haven't failed me yet.

....it blows me away that in order to buy a few simple parts for my gun I have to have it shipped from England, via air freight no less (I want to buy a Hunter 440 receiver end cap, freight and all are about $16.00) Gamo won't sell any internal parts to the public?? There has to be some one here doing repairs that can obtain parts......

7/6 I called Gamo today to request an end cap for the Hunter 440 receiver, I was blown off and told that they don't sell parts.....I decided right there that I WAS going to buy this part, it's not an internal component that could cause death and destruction ( can you tell I'm a little fed up with these folks?) and I expressed that fact as politely as I could...they finally asked for my shipping info and accepted my order....we'll see
