Actually the printing on the gun says "ElGamo", made in Spain. Bought one today at the Connecticut airgun show for next to nothing but don't know anything about it. Even "googled" it and came up with zip.
Anyone know anything about this gun?
Joe

Is that the survival style rifle with the multi-shot clip, made in Brazil? Does it shoot lead roundballs? They go for around $200 in very good condition. There seemed to have been an interest in these para-military style rifles by Gamo and Norica.

Hi Joe! I had an El Gamo 300 for awhile.

August 13 2009, 6:37 PM

Probably late 70's mfg. I would guess and very well made. Smooth as silk in cocking with a wonderful adjustable modular trigger that was alot like a well-known german One. Real adjustable too. This was well before the current Gamo importation and accompanied power race.Leather seal.
It was nice to see the specs from EJ. Thanks EJ.
Mine did perhaps 500ish even after rejuvination , spacing, different spring etc. That was all she wrote. Accurate though, and a joy to use. Felt German.
I hope you are feeling better, got to get you down here before the good weather ends.

Rob
