I finally found out the model# for my El Gamo. But now I was wondering if it is worth putting some money into it or just keep it and buy something new.Fires fine but I kwow it is not as fast as it was years back, but still accuate as heck! One thing that I do see is that the barrel when cocked is angled "UP" .The O-ring is warn a little but not sure if that would help the angle or not.GREAT GUN .
You might want to find out if it has a leather piston seal

Seeing how it is from 1968, it well may have one. If so, a few drops of pure silicone oil into the transfer port, then standing butt down for a few days might rejuventate it. But I wouldn't do that until you know what the seal is made out of. The old Gamo's were nicely made.
