I can't seem to find any info or reviews about this airgun. Is there anyone who has one or owned one. Is this a quality gun, or cheap build. Anything that you can say good or bad would really be appreaciated. Rich in M. people say that you are the Gamo Guru. Is there anything that you can say about this airgun. I would like to buy one but I know nothing about it. Thanks very much.
A buddy bought one, because it is so nice looking. But it IS very hard-cocking, too much for enjoyable shooting forays. We made a steel extender tube to fit over that stubby cocking arm, lined it with tubing to prevent marring the finish, and that made it usable...but who wants to carry an extra piece like that?
I'd skip the Stutzen and get something more user-friendly, unless you have arms like watermelons.
the stutzen is indeed not ez to cock but i've learned how to do it. i'm more concerned with the trigger. i had a side cocking rifle that was worse in cocking.

on their website, www.gamo.com, there are a few reviews. look under Gamo USA.
from what i'm finding out, the worse thing going on the Stutzen, is the trigger, and as stated above the cocking...IMHO. that's why i've ordered the GTX II trigger from AOA.
otherwise, it's a very accurate, hard hitting springer.
