Don't get your hopes up. If you watch carefully, this video may answer your question.

Note the motion of the gal's trigger finger in the closeup around time marks 0:28 to 0:30. You can see her come up on the end of the so-called "1st Stage," then pull thru the "2nd stage" to fire, which seems to involve about another 1/4" of creep. You can also see how the weight of the 2nd stage compresses the flesh of her finger. sad.gif

That's a lot of heavy weight and a bucket full (and you know the kind of "bucket" wink.gif) of nasty creep.

To my eye, the SAT looks to behave exactly like Gamo triggers have always behaved, and not any improvement at all. That is to say: The SAT is just marketing hype.

Appear to be just their current, modular trigger

Someone said they added a first stage screw but it didn't make much difference. Not as easy to upgrade as the old ones, either. Less is more dept.

The trigger changes

November 23 2012, 9:42 AM

The hairpin spring in the trigger has been replaced by a coil spring.

I have had discussions with the Gamo folks when the came out to South Africa.
I showed them how to make both the first and second stages adjustable.
They are extremely reluctant to provide the required level of adjustment to to the litigiousness characteristic of the US market.

I have developed my own modification of the SAT trigger which provides comprehensive and accurate setting if both first and second stages.

My customers have been extremely happy with the end result.

I will be having the completed product manufactured in aluminium shortly.
