Just received the first Gamo 126 from a gun auction. I think it is the Daisy version because it has an accessory rail with Daisy branding on it. I know these guns are not in production any more. I am looking for any info tear down instructions etc for this gun. I know about Chambers and have looked at their web site. I have searched this forum and others but all the info is old and the links do not exist. I also have another Gamo 126 in shipment from a different auction. It probably is a Gamo as it does not have the accessory rail on it.
It's been @ 15 yrs since I've owned a 126 but they have always been legendary for being a real can of worms to repair. Daisy had a single repairman who handled them all back in the day.
That said---even tho I can't recall who it is there is still a 'smith who will repair them. Try contacting the 10 meter shooting specialists.
From the horror stories I've been told you may not wish to attempt it yourself. Tom
I believe John Groenewold repaired them at one time.

The piston is oil filled and I believe he sent the piston to Spain for repairs. I could be all wrong but I do recall something about them.
Someday, every airgun in your collection is going to belong to someone else. You only own them for a brief period, and then they are on the block once again. Do not fret about this-it is how you got them in the first place.
