Response to Try this

I've thought about allowing them to visit as well, but my dog doesn't take very well with other males (which their dog is). I think they've shortened the dogs chain because I've heard him barking at times to go in, but can't see him on the front porch. I don't have a view of their side door. That in itself worries me because there aren't any covered areas other than the front porch. The people are in the process of selling their house to move to another area. I want to kick myself for not calling the police that night. While I can't see the dog when he barks, I do keep my ears open for any cries/wimpers. I also saw him over the weekend playing with the kids in the yard. I'm trying to keep notice in case there's any limping or such.

I did call the animal rescue here and was told the only way they can remove the animal is if the man is convicted of abuse. I can make an anonymous tip, but the most they can do with that is let the owners know there's been a complaint. sad.gif
