Hi,

I was picking up for another rescue group and noticed 2 lovely catahoula pups about 5-6 months old at the Barrow County Animal Control, Winder, GA (near Atlanta). This is a tiny shelter, overly full, and both pups will be euthanized on Wednesday July 23, possibly before. If anyone can help with rescuing, please see the contact information below. Please forward on. The situation for these pups is urgent.

AND 07-079 F 8MO GRAY / BLACK CATAHOULA X (had been listed as blue brindle lab X) Their time is UP! These two have very unique appearances and are alert, gentle, and VERY playful! The hound preferred to stay in the shade today (I certainly don’t blame him!), and the Catahoula gave me some funny expressions. He is apparently quite a character. They are ready to go home and romp with you!

RUN 7 – 07-173 M 6MO DANE / CATAHOULA X – What bee-u-ti-ful markings on this one! What a calm disposition!

RUN 5 – 07-148 M 6MO BRINDLE LAB X – What a HAPPY boy!!!

They CANNOT hold past their euth days - which are today & weds.

July 21 2008, 9:55 AM

I just spoke with the animal control officer & the light one was scheduled to be put down within the hour (!?!) Lori & I are working feverishly to see if we can get her out of there today -- the darker one is scheduled to be put down Weds. with no reprieve unless we can find her a foster.

He is so darn cute! Maybe we can do an adoption day somewhere halfway between us? I know we are kind of far from each other, that stinks!
