when i looked at the womens la. state records (which t.w. was so graciouse(sp?) to put together for us) i was sad to see that most of them had been set by college division on the colligate level.
i myself set some of these records back in my college days (aahhhh the good ol days) but after college i continued on in the open class.
i guess what i'm getting at is where do all these great lifters go i can remeber so many girls from college that would be unbeatable if they had continued like tawanda warner, aderan smith, big country, ect. in fact i can only think of 2 girls that have stuck with the game, geneva williams and j-rey.
anyway i would love to start a campain or something, and rally up the female population to the sport of powerlifting.
there is so much the sport has to offer, (not to mention the guys are hot lol)
we could start our own team at womens nationals give the iron maidens and team titan a run for there money. help each other through training.
i really hope that all these young chicks coming up from lsu and tech and nsu ect..... really get hooked like i did and continue to compete and push the envelope on these records.
its late and i'm a horrible typer hope it made since.
stay strong newman
