I know where that is!! I lived off of N. Turnbull with my aunt 2 summers ago. Anyway, doesn't Jesse Kellum train around there? I think he's originally from Metarie. Maybe you can hook up with one of his old lifting buddies or something to train with. Or join an old gym, that's usually where you'll find the real lifters. When I was over there, I lifted at Curitan's (???? Something like that). That's a good place. In my opinion... the nicer the gym, the less likely you'll find serious lifters. I think there's 2 of them... I went to the one by some park or something. You probably know what I'm talking about. Good luck with the training!
