I'm not opposed to the idea of the State Meet being held in Ruston. Hell, I still swear by the Johnny's Pizza that I had during my last journey to Ruston. BUT, I wonder if the central location of Baton Rouge isn't best for most people.
Baton Rouge is a hop, skip, and a jump from anywhere in the state.
Personally, if our I (or my team) decides to lift in the state meet, we'll go regardless of the location. But the 4 hour journey may turn away other lifters in the Southern part of the state (which is where most of the non-Tech lifters seem to be).
