Here's My Question

Suppose there are two lifters competing in the 165 LB weight class. On lifter weighs 149 LB and the other 165 LB. The 165 LB lifter out totals the 149 LB lifter by 5 LB. I understand the the 165 LB lifter takes 1st place and the 149 LB lifter takes second. However, when it comes down to a "best-lifter" award, who wins? I have used the Wilks Coefficient and this is what I have found:

1st Place 165 - 1205 x 0.7136 = 859.89
2nd Place 148 - 1200 x 0.7702 = 924.24

It appears that the 148 LB lifter wins the "best-lifter" award handily. Does this happen often?
