Yes Kory you are correct the lighter lifter wins the award. It is also my understanding that the lighter lifter should have won 1st in the weight class. Aren't we using formulas when figuring out totals also?
I guess all of this is mute until I can out squat and dead lift George huh? I'm pretty sure with his 500+ Squat and Deadlift that he will out total me again!
I guess I'll be stuck the the Best "looking" lifter award this weekend. (ok maybe not)

p.s. The 149 lifter in your example should have lost the extra 1/4 pound to make the lighter weight class.
