While answering Rene' Phillips' question about the USAPL Louisiana State Records for the SHW class I opened my meet packet sent to me by the USAPL. It included mailing labels for USAPL cards (Miss.,Texas,and Louisiana). I looked up D'Marquis Brown's (current USAPL LA SHW State Record holder) address and it is located on the Texas mailing labels list, not the Louisiana mailing labels. His address is one in Mesquite, TX. Does this mean that since he is in Louisiana (at LA TECH) that he possibly could lift in both the Texas and Louisiana State Meets?? I'm sure this issue has surfaced before.
Does anyone know what criteria the USAPL has set for "residency". This may applied to Collegiate lifters as well as lifters in the Armed Forces, stationed in different states.
Anyone who knows, please let me know so that we can maintain and update our USAPL State Records.
