Has anyone heard or dealt with the International Marriage Agency? I am interested in opinions to its honesty and quality of ladies presented. I have received emails from Novodvinsk,RU using the email address: office2001@bk.ru . Does anyone recognize this address? Thanks.

Thank you for the information. What information did you recognize as the scam? Was it the agency name, the place (Novodvinsk, near Archangel - scam central) or the email address? I am curious. Are there any scam sites that list this agency or email address? Again, I appreciate the warning.

I have found Julia Alipatrova on a blacklist posted today. She was found on: www.womenrussia.com/blacklist.htm
My information was supplied to these scammers by Maria Dorina's agency in Chernovtsy. I had suspected this agency also. There are similarities in the letters and both asked for more photos. Beware.

I also am seeking more info regarding this agency. See http://scamalert.freeservers.com/reputableagencies.html
but I am quickly leaning towards listing this agency as a Scam Agency.
I have had an ongoing investigation going from a personal angle with this agency and a client that I was corresponding with, Svetlana Rudenko.
Of large concern has been the manager's response concerning my concerns over the listing of known scammer "Julia/Yulia Gidzyaeva". The manager in her last email to me actually said that they can't refuse to offer service to anyone and they are not responsible for the activities of their clients.
I think that pretty much tells you what you need to know about this agency.

I noticed that over the last couple of weeks there has been several emails regarding the agency run by Marina Dorina and as to whether she was running a scam agency. Before we actually go out and ruin an agency by posting them on the potential scam list please take this posting into account. I know that a lot of the questions that have lead up to this were from Post from JaxAustin who was originally was trying to find out more about this information. I know that JaxAustin has some questions with regards to how legitimate this agency is, and maybe he has a reason. Before anyone wants to put an agency on a scam list, I think that you should have some firm evidence. I do not know if anyone has gone to this agency, but I just returned recently from her agency on October 29th. I would say that her agency is very legit, and while I was there I meet with several other American men, who where using her agency to find their significant other, and I was inquiring as to what they thought of the service (it was my second day there), and like me they had no complaints. Just to let you know, I have been communicating with one of Maria’s girls since March, and in October I decided it was time to visit the agency and my girl, which I would recommend more people to do rather than worry about what other people think, treat it as a vacation. My trip went extremely well, I stayed in a nice flat, the translators that Maria has are really good, and I was definitely able to get my feelings to my girl, and vice versa. While there I spent all of my time with my girls friends and family, and I am going back in mid January to visit her again. Maria does have an older gentleman her in the USA who can tell you more about Maria and her agency, and if you write back to me I will forward his email address to you. This gentleman will help you with regards to making sure you have the proper paperwork for a K1 visa and will help you through the steps. I called him prior to my first visit and he helped me as far as what to pack and what I would not be able to get in Ukraine during my stay, just a wealth of knowledge. I can tell you that by the size of Maria’s agency that it is fairly new, when I visited her she has been around for only three years, and had around 50 girls total of all age ranges that she was working with to find a potential husband. I had the opportunity to meet with Maria twice during my last visit and she was a nice young lady (early thirties), and did not meet the descriptions of the famous Baranova from that Ukrainian region. If any of you have any questions please write to me and I will provide anything specific that I observed about her agency. There is several marriage / dating agencies out there using the International Marriage Agency name and the International Dating Agency, I ran across this just by doing a search (yahoo) one night looking for a web site of Maria’s prior to my first trip. Gentleman I was informed during my visit to her agency that she is working on getting a web site and should have one set-up shortly, but if you do a search and do not see one that states from Chernivsti, Ukraine that is not her agency. JaxAustin, if you have not burned any bridges with this scammer from Russia, Julia Alipatrova, lets find out more about her agency in Russia. I feel this is the agency we need to investigate, because I highly doubt if she is in anyway connected with Maria’s agency in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. JaxAustin, did you go through people helpers for your initial contact with Natalia Pantya? But please do not put an agency on a scam list unless you have visited the agency for yourself. If there is anyone from Chernivsti that can shed some more information about her agency I think that the message board would appreciate it.
As I mentioned before I will be going out there in January so if there is any special request regarding Maria or her agency send them to me and I can ask them personally when I arrive in Mid January. Please feel free to contact me at TV2840@yahoo.com.

First of all Todd, this message title is for the International Marriage Agency in relation to the Novodvinsk office/agency. The message title lower on the list is for Maria Dorina's agency. I attempted to keep them as separate as possible to assign accountability. Handling them together only confuses the issues.
I found Maria Dorina quite congenial (the well mannered letter comment) and my only issues with her are: 1) Sending me the same profiles with different pictures and names. 2) Regular and unusual requests for photos and information about me when already previously supplied. and 3) Supplying my information which was picked up by a KNOWN scammer. The known scammer actually identified their affiliation with the International Marriage Agency. This is the same identification made by letters I received from Maria Dorina's agency and her agency is the only one I supplied information to. So I consider Maria's agency a link. I do not know the extent of involvement and I really don't care as I saw enough reason to end contact. And after I did, out of the blue, I am contacted by a scammer - different agency same affiliation. It sounds like your experiences are better but it doesn't change my history. I wish you luck.
Now to properly address this message title about the Novodvinsk office. Since our last communication I have received more information you are unaware of. The scammer behind Julia Alipatrova has identified herself - Ludmila Domashneva. She has a history of this same scam well documented by others. I have been baited with a model's pictures and supplied with numerous methods and several bank accounts (multiple countries) to make payments enabling me to receive the letters from the eager model. It is a sophisticated array of payment options for an agency with under 50 ladies. I will email you the letters. Since I will send no money the scam will not occur thanks to other individual's who posted their unfortunate experiences.

Hello Sir, I have been in contact with a lady from this agency now for nearly 6 months, her name is Julia Kudinova, I intend to meet her in February, The problem I am most worried about is that she want $200 single to go from Kiev to her city, and I have to use other services of the agency, like interpreter driver apartments etc, she wont hear of me using the train, I am very skeptical now on reading what I have, do you personally think she is a scam, and should I go somewhere else,,thank you ,,Michael

To answer your question. Yes, Julia Alipratova is a fraud. I was sent to this site through another link and suddenly, there it was. A photo of this woman and a promise to get a second email if I doubt her. They described her as the most beautiful and educated woman at their agency. The owner said, that Julia was very interested in me and was anxiously awaiting my correspondence. Of course, I had to put money into an account as it is expensive for her to correspond, etc. So avoid it and be smart.
While I'm at it. I am plan on going to the Ukraine for two weeks in February and looking for a agency to work with and contact some woman now. I know several have memberships where I can write to many to have some options of local girls there. Where would you go in the Ukraine, and with what agency? I would like to meet several woman and then narrow it down and spend my time with them there. I have been to the embassies site and know most of what to expect. So I plan on getting the K-1 paperwork now and if I am fortunate and meet someone, do the photos and have the paperwork done while I am there. We'll see what happens.

michael and other - the international marriage agency operates out of chern ( it may operate out of other areas too i don;t know) - it is based in the luxe hotel and one presumes the package includes a driver for the trip from kiev to chern ( $150US for the car and driver - from 1 to 4 persons and or a mini bus which can take upto 16 is required - don;t know the price though of this)and a room ( starting from 30US a night) and a interpretor- your lady can stay at this hotel with you as well
I was to stay there and use the services of the driver and car for the price quoted and a room between 30US- 50US as i tentalively made arrangements to meet a woman who i was corresponding with a lady who was not on the international marriage agencies books. She said it was one of the better hotels and they allowed guests to stay which some don;t - she was also concerned about me staying at other hotels which are frequeted by " ladies of the night".
I didn't go in the end but may when it is a bit warmer

i am always intrigued in how agencies always have some highly intelligent and absolutely gorgous woman on their books who is desperately keen to corresond with you and meet you but want you to falk out large or not so large sums of cash for this to occur
