Here is the letter I received when she found out that her visa was denied. Oh, it's a classic alright!!!
I got a real kick out of the part about seeing a lawyer...you have to follow this letter very closely to understand what I mean.

want to go to Europe, smart people opening Shangen
visa at 10 days, but I was stupied, and I thought I'm
lucky, and Europinian visa will open for me, but was
wrong, it's impossible. They told me about internet,
they cheked all information about me in internet, and
they know about marrige agency Baranova's...
I know you will unhappy, like me right now, like my
Mom. I think some my friends happy only...
But, honey, trust me, all problems have exits...
today I haved consultation with lawyer, and he sad,
I have only one exit... I need to change new passport
without any visas and to try to open Shangen visa at
10 days, but it's too long, I need many many papers.
But only so, what can I do for going to Europe, It's
2-3 months long...
Jon, I'm shock, I realy don't know what to do. I'm
going to check something else, maby somebody will try
to help me. I knew it, everything was so greate, it's
impossible in life...I feeled it, I feeled in village
something wrong, and it's true...
I must to run, I hope you feeling better, and I'm
very sorry about it. If I will have news I let you
know...I will try to do everything what I can...
I very miss you, and very unhappy, I whant to cry...
