AnastasiaWeb ('AW')
aka Anastasia International Inc., Russian Brides, Scanna International.
I have documentary evidence (emails, web pages etc..) which show the following facts:
AW admits that its agents in CIS countries encourage girls to spam men for responses. This means that the more men who reply the higher the revenue earned by AW and its agents. It also means that the 'interest' of the woman is often not genuine.
AW admits that in many cases the initial letter purporting to be from the lady is, in fact, from the agency itself and not from the lady. I have noticed that usually the lady's profile either does not match my criteria or I do no match her criteria!
AW promotes tours to meet ladies in CIS countries yet its own web site states that its last tour was during December 2001!
The agent of AW will use an identical letter to impersonate the lady. I have evidence which shows an identical letter purporting to come from the same lady addressed to different male id profiles.
AW's agent will initiate correspondence and hence impersonate a lady even after that lady is listed as no longer available on the AW web site.
My evidence contains written confirmation from two ladies who confirm they did not write letters to me until I contacted them through another channel. This meant I was writing to the agency who was duping me as to the lady's intentions. My feelings were being exploited.
I am therefor planning to initiate a lawsuit in Maine, USA where AW has its headquarters. I plan this to be a class action to recover the charges which AW obtained by fraud and damages including punitive damages.
I invite all men who have had similar experiences to mine with this organisation to join me in this action. It will be on a 'no win no fee' basis for the lawyer so there will not be any risk to the complainant.
At this time the following brief details are required from each complainant:
Date started using the services of AW or its affiliates
Date stopped using their services
The amount of money paid to AW etc.. during this period.
A summary of your experiences.

We read this posting in the forum and were to put it mildly - shocked. How can John Watt say that
Anastasia did tour the last time in the year 2001?! Our agency cooperates with Anastasia for more
than 2 years and we help them in their tour arrangements in Odessa. They invite the girls from our
agency to their Socials that are held in the club "Vechernyaya Odessa" ("Evening Odessa") where
Anastasia does Tours 5 times a year.
Even last week Anastasia brought the group of American men, many of which wrote to our ladies and
arranged dates with them.
John Watt also says: AW admits that its agents in CIS countries encourage girls to spam men for
responses. - in reality is not true. The ladies come to the agencies and ask to send their first letters to
the men with a hope to receive some answers.
John Watt also says "the lady's profile either does not match my criteria or I do no match her criteria!"
- the ladies ask to send their letters in accordance with their criteria. No one can make you open
letters from the lady if she doesn't match you criteria. Simply this lady liked you and she believes that
receiving a letter from a lady that is 5 years younger than your criteria will not harm you a lot. Maybe
you will like her anyway.
<The agent of AW will use an identical letter to impersonate the lady. I have evidence which shows an
identical letter purporting to come from the same lady addressed to different male id profiles.> It is
pretty obvious that this is the way it happens. How can a lady write her Introductory letter describing
herself, her life, family etc.to very many men and all these letters will look absolutely different???
"AW's agent will initiate correspondence and hence impersonate a lady even after that lady is listed as
no longer available on the AW web site". - if a lady is really removed from the website it is absolutely
impossible for her to write and receive letters.
If he means that sometimes ladies are deleted and then are back on the website some time later there
is nothing fraudulent here. The lady is removed temporarily if she for example, left for a vacation or a
business trip. After she comes back and can attend her agency again her profile is restored on the
website and then she can correspond again.
"My evidence contains written confirmation from two ladies who confirm they did not write letters to
me until I contacted them through another channel. This meant I was writing to the agency who was
duping me as to the lady's intentions. My feelings were being exploited" - Probably it happens
sometimes but Anastasia runs regular checks and their staff call our ladies and asks different questions
about the correspondence with men.
At first, our girls and we didn't like it all because we never write letters on the ladies' behalf without
their knowledge but we also understand that this is the only way to protect their clients from dishonest
agencies.
"I am therefor planning to initiate a lawsuit in Maine, USA where AW has its headquarters. I plan this
to be a class action to recover the charges which AW obtained by fraud and damages including
punitive damages." - This information is very weird as it was posted here in October' 03. Now it is
July' 04 and Anastasia is till in business and seems that their flourishes day by day as we receive more
and more letters from men for our ladies.
