Hi, I'm new here. I just bought a Brava from Brava company. I'm 34A. The sales person suggested me to buy Wide medium domes. And I want Wide Large domes so I can wear it for a long time without outgrowing and buying another pair. But the sales person said if the domes are too big you can't lock the air. I'm not sure if it's true. I already paid. Can anyone give me any suggestion. Should I buy Wide medium or Wide Large? Will it really make any difference?
I'm waiting on line. Thanks.
What is your bust and underbust measurement? I was told I was too small underbust to wear Brava at all but got the narrow large and outgrew them in 6 weeks. The narrow XL fit me really well but get full in a long session so I have the wide XL too. The wide XL seals ok but I find it hard to do housework in them because they're big and heavy they fall off if I lean forwards. I can keep the seal overnight in the wide XL but the narrow XL goes on tighter so I can sleep on my side which is more comfortable. I'm about 26 underbust and 33 over so I'm 30D but even with a tiny band size I can still fit the largest domes. You say you are 34A. Are you full A cup or just wearing A cup because it's easier to buy than a smaller size? I used to wear 32B because I didn't like to think I was only 32A but the inside of the bra was empty. If you have a reasonable amount of breast tissue you'll get a seal with no probs.
Louise, I'm not full A. My underbust is 29,overbust is 31.5. I just don't want to buy another pair of domes within my first session. Will I be ok to wear Wide L or not? Thanks.

That's really difficult, your measurements do make you smaller than 34A so I'm not sure. Have you got kids or lost weight recently? Is your body very skinny? I think if you've breastfed previously then you're more likely to get big swelling but otherwise you might be better doing as they suggest - I don't want to advise you to get the Wdie large then you can't get a seal. I think I get away with wearing domes that are too big because I've got a reasonable amount of breast tissue now but if you're a very small cupsize you may have problems.
Hi i would agree with louise and get the large. I have never been over weight, never had kids, was a 34A and really didnt even fill that out at all. I started with a med because thats what the website said i should start with and that was fine for like 2weeks and then my nipples were touching the domes, and then when i stopped using the smartbox and did a manual air lock they started swelling so large my entire breast would be smushed up against the dome. I did not buy my original system from brava so i couldnt go to them to buy the large, so i got the only size they sell on ebay which is XL and i have no problem getting a suction. I honestly wouldnt recommend anyone start with a medium because of my experience and the expense incurred.
Louise and V,thank you both for the advice. I think I'll probably go for Wide Large since I got kids and I should be a quick responder. I just suspected what the Brava salesperson said and I think they are trying to sell more domes.(The domes are so high priced that I don't think they worth that much money.)

Wow! I can't imagine ever touching the end of the domes! I started off completely, completely flat-chested (not even a size!)though I did become a large B when breastfeeding my three children 20 years ago. It all went away soon after, however. I have the wide/medium domes, having been using Brava for 8 weeks, and I am barely half-way to the end of the inside of the dome after a 16-hour session. It doesn't seem to matter if I use the smartbox or the manual airlock - they just never seem to swell any bigger. Still, I am happy with my progress so far. Maybe someday, huh? Congrats to all of you that have such great success!

Hi Roakie - don't panic, it takes a while to grow new skin before you can get big swelling then even longer to grow anything new to put inside it! Think 8 months on 4 months off schedule for several years - it doesn't happen overnight, keep it up x
A little confused... I biggest concern is whether the bigger domes will hold the pressure during the first several weeks, especially during the daytime I suppose to do some housework. Should it be smaller better for doing housework? Any idea? Thanks.
