results?

So this is my second day trying noogleberry. I still only have one dome, I want to see if I will really use this thing before I order another one. I use it on each breast for about 10 minutes. That seems to be the longest I last yet. Still not in a good routine of sitting still and as of yet, I don't really want my family to know I am using "another" breast pump, so I do it when noone is around (which is virtually never) Then I manage to use it again sometime in the afternoon for another 10 minutes on each breast. Am I wasting my time? I would love to know some of the successful noogleberry users schedules. Would I be better to struggle and get in a hour a day once, or 2 20 minute sessions.....???? After my 10 minute sessions the swelling is minimal, almost not even noticeable. But I don't find that discouraging, even with brava, it took a week or so before my boobs seemed very swollen in the morning.

Thanks for any help girls!

Hi StacyEllen,

I think you would do better with two shorter sessions than one long session. At least that is what many of the Nooglers do. It seems to be the thing that takes those who are not responding and brings them into faster and better response.

It makes sense since the pumping time is so minimal. Pumping once and then the breast is 'alone' for the rest of the day. Pumping twice and the breast gets a 'reminder' to sustain the swelling. The biggest key is consistency. Pump every day.

Some have grown just fine on short sessions while others do better with longer sessions. I would say at first the short sessions will build your tolerance to the whole contraption.

If you get a second cup I think you would do well to shoot for two 20 minute sessions a day if you don't have more time with it. But really, do it in the time you have and see what happens. You may respond just fine with what you are doing.

Best wishes,
waxingmoon

thanks for the advice. 2 shorter sessions works much better for me anyway. I will do what I can every day and try to work up to longer sessions.

I never measured because I didn't feel like it was accurate enough.....i began as an A cup and I am a full B now. I was always trying for a c but I am the thinnest I have ever been and have no fat on my upper body. So, unless I want to gain 10 lbs., I think a full B is all I am going to get. To get to my full B, my first cycle was 32 weeks, next was 20 weeks. (i then got pregnant and breastfed for 1 1/2 years and lost most of my growth from all the pulling and tugging) So at cycle 3 I began as a small B (still bigger than when I started) and did 17 weeks (around there) and then did a cycle 4 for 15 weeks and ended at a full B. I can wear a c cup if it is padded. Brava is great. But i am trying noogleberry because I am tired of the huge commitment of brava.

I'm in my 15th week, I only grew 1/2 inch. It seems like everyone else grew at least 1 inch by now. I don't know if I should continue, maybe it's not working for me. What advice can you give me?

After having three kids, my nipples are droopy now. Did yours get better after gaining 1 cup?

i didn't notice that brava did much of anything to or for my nipples but mine didn't really change from breastfeeding either. (just the texture of my breasts themselves and they got very droopy!)

Do you think I should continue? because I only gained 1/2 inch in 15 weeks. I should have seen better results by now. I don't know what to do.

Hi, Anet. I have been using Brava for 31 weeks now, averaging 13 hours per night, and I have only grown 1" after the domes have been off for 12 hours. I started off totally flat (not even a slight mound) and now I have something that resembles a gal starting to enter puberty! I am 54, have gone through menopause, and grew to a size B while nursing three children. But I lost it all after I stopped breastfeeding and went back to where I started.
Am I worried this won't work? Yes. Am I worried I will lose it all when I stop? Yes. But I am determined to keep going a full year on my first cycle. I started with zero breast tissue and if we are growing drop by drop, this will take a long time. It is tiring and frustrating, but once you have started, you might as well see it through. A half inch is good for fifteen weeks.
What size were you when you started? How old are you? Are you naturally very thin?
Stay encouraged. Keep going. Don't stop until you just can't do it anymore.

I'm very happy for you. Last time we talked, you had gained 1/2".
I'm 30 years old, my breast size is B (but not full), I'm 100lb, 5 feet tall. I don't mind doing brava, I just want to see results. I will be very happy to gain 1.5". Last night I had it off for 14 hours, when I measured my breast it was barely 1/2" growth.
I'm upset because, I have been wearing brava for 16 to 17 hours a day. Brava is part of me now. I clean the house, cook food, take care of my kids (three kids) with them on.

You sound very thin at 100lbs. But the fact that you've had kids and that you're a B cup should help you a lot. I have 3 kids as well but am 5'2". I started out 120 lbs. with Brava and at the end of 18 weeks I had lost 3 lbs and was 117 lbs. I wore it for 11 hours a day only because of my work schedule. I would hang in there. If you feel like you've plateaued you may want to take a 2 week break and then start cycle #2. I've read that Brava recommends it. Also other people on here have said they don't think they grew until 18-32 weeks so if you don't want to take a break, maybe you'll have a growth spurt when you get to that many weeks. I noticed growth at the 12 week mark and then again at the 16th week. Keep measuring and I give you credit. After 11 hours I needed a break and I needed to leave the house to run errands a lot which was a pain.

Ha ha! Confusing. Someone accidentally used your name on the post but it wasn't me. I have 3 kids but I weigh 123 pounds and I am 5'8"!
