As U say there is no time, the club must decide to help NOW!
Geoff can't move those he wants to out if they don't want to go, if they have long contracts.
So the clubs board must pay them off, or risk demotion!
Yes it costs £££, but so will going down!
Unless we get better quality players in the club could go down and the efforts of people like Mr Ellis will be wasted, and made much harder for being in the Rymans!
I was at the Fulham Ladies game the other week and was shocked to see the effort they put in over the whole 90 minutes! No-one stopped running, even when winning by eight goals!
The team worked hard to get four up into the goal area when attacking and all got back quickly when defending. They kept to their positions and their passing, marking and covering were 1st class.
What was clear saddly, was that they were better than our mens side at this aspect of play, and allowing for strength compared to that of men, they could beat them too!
