Fantastic match on Boxing Day. The whole team pulled together and got us out of jail just after we'd appeared to throw it away and got us a deserved win against a decent Farnborough side (but glad to see Patterson doesn't get any more charming!)
I think at last we may be able to think about a settled line-up - and I do agree with Buzza we don't miss Roddis at all. An in-form Moore contributes far more than Roddis ever did (though he was lucky not to be sent off for one horrendous challenge that the ref missed).
My one big concern about it all is Tucker. As we know he's a great shot-stopper and made a couple of great saves on Boxing Day. But he was badly at fault in not coming to claim the through ball for the second goal and his general hesitancy with crosses and through balls is starting to cost us points on a regular basis. He is a great prospect but he's learning in public and he needs to learn fast. I think the most important signing we can make at the moment is a goalkeeping coach to sort him out.
Oh and does Kevan Brown's appearance at the ground mean he's kissed and made up with CL and BFG? | |
