Tucker is the best keeper we've ever had, playing behind one of the worst defences in the league.
Batty was a huge leap up in class for us and the lanky Aussie was alright too, but remember the pain and suffering that pair have put us through? Batty may have wanted to get off his line quickly but let's face facts - he was a slow fat lad. Flahavan was great but six-inch Cuban heeled football boots points to a short arse, while the bouncy Roo was ****e at Carlisle:- and that was with a better defence than the constantly changing one we've got now.
With the players we've got in front of him TT shouldn't have to play a blinder every match and still concede at least 2. Yes, he is sometimes shakey but no wonder! I'm terrified when the opposition attacks our defence, and I'm on the KRE!
On Boxing Day I was applauding a fine F***boro goal until TT put it over the bar. It seems to me he's been doing that a lot this year. His mistakes often cost goals simply because he's having to do much more than those illustrious keepers of the past. So there!
The problem with the rest of you is that you know nothing about football...
