So, we lost 4-0 to the leaders playing ( according to their message board) the best they have all season, and it was away. Also we appeared to play well in the first half, creating at least 5 good chances to score, again Boston fans seemed to think we looked better than our current position. I think we all need to try and be slightly more positve, hard I know If you've just come back from Boston, however we do have some good players at the club, and there's still time for us to climb up the table. he's a list of reasons to be positve:

1) Chris Ingram ( financial stability)
2) Chris Sharpling
3) Warren Patmore
4) Paul Steele
5) Steve Perkins (still v.good on his day)
6) Scott Smith
7) Charlie Griffin
8) Scott Steele (Hereford game!)
9) Lots of potentialy very good young players inc. Tucker, Fowler, Reeks, Ruggles, Baverstock
10) new ground?
11) Still only a couple of wins away from Stevenage
12) Good home record
13) more fans than most conference sides.

I could go on but I'm getting bored, my point is there's lots to be positive about.

BFG and Colin as positives, any reason for this?

Bfg & Colin

Only reason I left them out, is that some people would question whether they're positive or not. My verdict on Bfg's return will be made once he's had a chance to make the side his. At present he's working with the side that colin created. I know that might mean Ryman league football next season, but I still believe we have the best side we've had for 3 years, and I think we'll stay up.

How can ????

We have to wait for "BFG to make the side his" - implying that we need to change the team, and yet at the same time "have the best side we've had in 3 years"

Either the side is decent and we should be getting results, or the side is no good and we need to change it?

Bfg's side

I see yor point Mike but we have spent the last few years trying to avoid relegation, and I do think the side is better than last years. However, that doesn't mean I think it's fantastic, there's still room for improvement. Besides even if the side was great, a new manager would still want to change things and stamp his style on the side. I guess my main point was that Geoff needs to be given time, and I know we haven't got much of that.

This Years Team Vs Last Years

December 17 2001, 5:27 PM

This years players are generally better than the ones we had last year. Unfortunately the team is no better. The question is WHY?
