This man made some class saves today. Despite being yelled at by some twat all the way through the first half. At first I thought he was a Farnborough fan....but wasn't.....he kept on telling Tucks he was sh*t and then spitting at him......did anyone else see this? Tony is young and still learning - if anything he needs our support and encouragement.....so , whoever knows this gent, please tell him to shut the f*ck up.....even poor Tony was telling him to calm down.......anyway.....Overall I thought it was a very good tem performance today, with Roscoe D'Sane (sum1 give hem a contract, PLEASE!)winning my vote for man of the match. Some good passing and link-up play and everyone getting stuck in with the tackles. I think B'Boro had about 5-6 bookings today....wonder if that will affect their team on New Year's Day? Finally, Beck......thought you were meant to be wearing a dress today?! ;-p

Merry Xmas everybody and a Happy New Year!

He is a great player. I feel sorry for him because every 10 saves he makes hell make a pigs ear of one. The shame is almost every time he has messed up its ended up as a goal and not a miss hit shot or off the line save.

Neway 3 points and its off to Cherry**** road so c'mon u cards!

(D'Sane and Eddie played excellent today)

I saw it

And the worst point was just after Tucka made that great fingertip save just after we went 2 up. At least he shut up a bit after about 15 people simultaneously (spelling???) told him to shut the f*** up.
I felt Tucker could have done better on the second goal it looked like he started going out and then stopped, but i was up the KRE so i couldnt really see it very well.
I'm stuck with two minds on Chapple: The effort was outstanding from everyone on the pitch even Perkins who has been known to be a bit of a luxury player was absolutely up for it. However everyone in the ground could see their equaliser coming surely he should have made a change???
But in the end it doesnt really matter coz we got 3 WELL DESERVED points.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

So why is he not expelled from the ground.

Do we employ wimps and matchday yellow coat poseurs?

Could The Twit Who Yelled Sh*t Be A Racist Git?

December 26 2001, 10:40 PM

Tony is a highly talented young keeper who however is still learning. He is still sussing out when best to come out, how to best deal with very physical challenges on high crosses communication with his defence. But he is a key team member who needs encouraging. If you get a home supporter?? consistently abusing one of his own players who is black, alarm bells start to ring in my head and I think racist? I still remember myself berating some so-called Woking fans a few years ago for shouting 'useless Paki' at Akrour. Not only where they racist they obviously didnt normally watch Woking and were geographically challenged as well as being obnoxious and thick. The KRE should watch for this guy and if he repeat offends point him out to the stewards and tell them to do their job and turf him out the back with the rubbish-bins where he belongs.

I agree

Everyone saw him and we know who he is. If it happens again someone has to say something coz we're in the **** and people like him definitely dont help especially when Tucks is low on confidence after Boston. However, i thought he (T.T) dealt with the situation superbly, as did the ten or more fans who told him to shut up.
Still a bit worried about Sharpee's confidence though

told you so

did I not warn that there were a few racists on the terraces?
Now I may be a liberal type who believes in tolerance and equal opportunity, but even if you're not - some of these folks are still a disgrace to Woking.
How are our black players meant to feel part of a club rather than just turn up for wages if they get racist abuse?
Oh - I forgot - these folks didn't think Dereck Brown was good enough either. At least they're consistent.

That idiot

I saw, and heard him too and pleased to say I told him in none-too polite terms to silence himself. It's absolutely disgusting to see such abuse being hurled at the very players everyone else is encouraging, espiecally as it was totally untrue, Tucker played very well in my opinion. Can't be certain it was with rascist intent though.
