I would imagine that if the referee/linesman had seen it he could have been booked for at least un-gentlemanly conduct; but, perhaps more seriously this kind of occurance may lead to crowd trouble.
I suspect that the F.A. would take a dim view of this behavior if a formal complaint is lodged.Or do we let it rest as part and parcel of the beautiful game ?
