Since we've been in the conf the following sides have gone down with 42pts or more:

1993/4 - slough 47pts
1994/5 - merthyr 44pts
1996/7 - bath 47pts
1999/0 - well 47pts
1999/0 - alty 46pts
2000/1 - kettrin 43pts

The follwing side have survived after losing 21 or more games:
1995/6 - dover lost 24
1995/6 - bath lost 22
1995/6 slough lost 21
1997/8 - farnboro lost 22
1999/0 - fgr lost 21
1999/0 - hednesford lost 21

There are anomalies also -
1993/4 slough lost 17 and went down, whereas dover lost 18 and finished 8th!

forgot that farnboro went down in our first conf season with 47pts.

Average number of points won by the team finishing in 19th since we've been in the conf is 46.4. Highest number won is 51, lowest 43.

Has anyone checked whether Gravesend (if Canvey slip), Lancaster, and Crawley or Havant have conference grade grounds?
