Update your site please!!

I'm dying to update my site (sorry to anybody waiting for their reviews to go up - they should be up in the next week or so), but it's impossible at the moment. In between a full-time job, studying, part-time web design, being a father and trying to have a life (and trying to find a spare few minutes to actually play some vidgames :)), I just don't don't have the time. Hopefully this will change soon. If I get the chance, I'm hoping to revamp the site at some point, so stay tuned. And thanks for visiting

"Janet"? Does this mean that you're a genuine (gulp) Woman Who Plays Video Games? There really aren't enough of you, you couldn't have a word with my girlfriend and try and get her into them could you? Maybe then she'd stop cracking jokes about "boys and their toys" whenever I have a Mame of winvice session. Just thought I'd ask.

And Jay, did you get a response when you asked to be a Zzap reviewer for the new issue (I'm currently part-way through writing my review allocations now)?

I got a response on the messageboard which basically translated as 'sorry mate you're at back of the queue'

As for female gamers, I have a friend whose missus is completely nuts about vidgames - NES, DC, Gameboy ... and I mean really nuts about them ... lucky b*stard

Yep,

You should try & play Pnickies (Callus or Mame)against your girlfriend.

When we discovered this game we played this the whole day (and still do) and she loves it to give me extra bombs. She freaks out when the game spits some "hakanika" sounds out!
But, she only plays Pnickies & Puzzle Bobble kind of games.
So much for my hope!

Now, how can I convince her to play Spectrum games (she hates those!)

By the way her Pnickies score is 64.750 on 1 player mode. Try to beat that!!!!
