Old baseball 1953

Hello-

I have a baseball dated 1953. It has been in my family for many years. It has some signatures on it but I don't think they are players.

It says OSMA scholars, Brooklyn etc. I don't know what that means. I took a few quick photos of it. Here's a slideshow.
