I am looking for decendants or information on the family of John Pittman who married Mary Tibitha Kizziah Laney 24 dec 1876 in Jackson County, AL. I am decended from Mary's sister Amanda Laney who married Jackson Wigley and moved to TX in 1882. I am trying to track down info on all 10 of the William Laney/Sarah Thomas children. I have recently found that some of the children of John Pittman and Mary Lanaey(at least some of the boys) followed Jackson Wigley to Fannin Co. TX and lived with them as boarders and farm workers. Some of the boys names were Babe, Jake, Will and Tom. Babe is listed in the 1900 census of Fannin Co TX with Jackson Wigley, and Jake is listed as a boarder with Jackson's son Wiley Wigley in 1930. I do not know if any of the rest of the family came to TX. Any help in finding more info. on the Pittman family would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
