Looking for Dillard, Cotton, Wood or Whitaker surnames

I have a little information on these surnames but not enough. All I have done, it seems, is create more mystery. Any information on, specifically Elvira Ann Dillard Cotton Wood, F.E. Cotton, Willie Cotton, or Catherine Whitaker would be greatly appreciated. On anyone else with these surnames would be awesome.
