I am searching for James Smith born in south carolina and somehow ending up in Jackson county Alabama with a wife named nancy from 1860 census to 1880 they were Jackson county then nothing I do know some of the children married and moved to Houston county Ala and married into the moates and andersons and i think one went to pike county and married a henderson but i can not find out what happened to James and Nancy and can not find out what the parents names were of either any one have a smith moat moates motes or anderson henderson in there family from these three counties please let me know
