Caldwell family of ScottsborobyI have many Caldwell family members who lived in Scottsboro. I would love to hear from any of my Caldwell relatives or anyone else with an interest in the family. In particular, I am interested in obtaining photos of Hamlin Caldwell, who was court reporter at the first "Scottsboro Boys" trial and Daisy Caldwell who did so much to preserve the history of the Caldwell family of Scottsboro. Further, I notice that there is a Caldwell School and a Caldwell Park in Scottsboro. I wonder if either or both of these names came from any member of this Caldwell family. Here is a list of candidates (from the Caldwell family gealogy done by Daisy Caldwell and listed as available in the Scottsboro Library holdings catalogue): Hamlin Caldwell, b.
