George J. Lee married Nacy J. Higginbottom 28 Mar 1873 by MOG W. R. Reed Jackson Co. AL OS page 205

George and Nancy are on the 1880 Jackson Co. Census. Pheba Lee is also with Martin and Mary Davis as mother in law. George and Nancy are living between to Sanders families both from NC possibly Phebe Sanders Lee's brothers.

George J. Lee was the son of Henry Lee and Phebe Sanders Lee. George J. is listed with Phebe Lee on the 1870 and 1860 Jackson Co. Census.

Henry Lee married Phebe Sanders 27 Jul 1839 Marshall Co. AL.

They are on the 1850 Marshall Co. Census. This was apparently Henry's second marriage.

Living either side of they are probably two of Henry's sons by his first marriage.

Note: the 1860 entry for George was the last line on the last page of that entry the census taker apparently did not start a new page with Mary A.

Could not find Lue and Nancy J. on the 1860.
