I am a descendant of the oldest known Tobias Wilhelm and have been to the cemetery where he is buried. It is located near the Jackson County-Madison County line near the bank of Paint Rock River. An old map shows this area as "Paint Rock ford" which means it was a shallow place in the river where wagons and horses could cross the river. I suspect "Rockford Cemetery" is a corruption or mis-pronounciation of "Paint Rock ford."
However, the correct name is the Tobias Wilhelm Cemetery near Paint Rock River at a spot where an old wagon road crossed (forded) the Paint Rock River.
