Tombstone information

I have a great uncel who is buried in Blue Springs Cemetery in Larkinsville Al Charles F. Driver. He worked for the railroad there in the 1870's. His stone is about 4 feet tall and narrow and tall he also has a son buried there and I believe his wife. I was wondering if this stone is a personal stone or would the railroad have furnished it. Any information greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
