This may well be a misreading of her last name. With the above info you can order a copy of the
marriage from the Probate Court, Jackson County Courthouse, PO Box 128, Scottsboro,
AL 35768 for $3.00 and a SASE to see what it says.

From the 1870 Census Marshall Co. where it lists John Berry as age 21 I think he is probably
the John W. Berry 13 in Marshall Co. 0n the 1860.

The following maybe your Frances Jane it is the only one I could find in
Jackson/Marshall/Madison counties that the name was close using either Rooks or Books.
