I assume this is the Lee J. Evans who d. Dec 2006 Grand Rapids MI. I have not been able to match him to anyone on the 1920 or 1930 Census.
You can order a copy of his Social Security Card Application for the SS Administration, among the questions asked are parents names, where they were born and where and when the applicant was born. With that info we should have more luck in finding him on the census.
