New to PM, have some questions!

Hi everyone! I'm new to this board but not new to BE. I tried it for a while several years ago with minimal success. Gave up on it, had a baby, and now that my breasts are looking worse than ever I'm ready to give it another try! Heard about PM and became very interested. I've got a bottle of St.herb pills on the way, along with a jar of Femagis cream and Blossom-s soap (thanks to this site). I'm also thinking of ordering a jar of the St.herb cream (not to use in conjunction with the other cream but just in case the other doesn't work for me.) Here are my questions:

I should be receiving my pills on Tuesday or Wednesday. Unfortunately, I started my period tonight. I kind of miscalculated and thought I would be getting it later this week. How bad is it to start the pills a few days into my period? I'll be so bummed if I can't do it... I decided to try PM at the very end of my last period so I've been waiting weeks to try this stuff and then I start my period before I get the pills! grrrrrrr! I'm so impatient.

My next quesiton is kind of personal but I have to ask... I read a post on here about someone having an abnormal pap after being on PM. I never saw how that turned out (whether it was due to HPV or just a fluke in the test), but I myself had one abnormal pap after having my son. I was treated with cryotherapy and I've been okay since. But I've been avoiding being on birth control pills because I've read that the change in hormones can kind of bring that stuff back on. Then I read that post on here and got kind of worried. Does anyone out there know if this can affect this sort of thing?? I really don't want to have to go through all of that again.

My last question is about ramping up with this stuff... how exactly would I do that, and is it a good idea to do? I would like to avoid negative side effects as much as possible, but I also want to take enough of it to have an effect!

Oh wait, I lied... I have one more question. Since I'll be using the soap AND a cream, when do I use both? I use the soap in the shower of course, but then do I just apply the cream after the shower when I've dried off?

Thanks, everyone!

Hello! I would happen to think it would be ok to take the PM a few days after your period has started, but I'm sure you'll get other responses as it is just a matter of opinion. I believe the directions are to take 2 capsules after breakfast and 2 before bed.
I have had abnormal paps also (long time ago and not related to NBE) and so I understand your concern. Nobody will probably truly know if PM or any other form of NBE would have an effect on that sort of thing. It is a risk. Messing with ones hormones in general is taking a risk on your health in general. I myself, am throwing caution to the wind and trying NBE, paying close attention to how I feel. You can always discontinue if you don't feel well.
I started taking BO and had a unpleasant vaginal odor, a heavey period and thought I would take the herbs instead, but the fenugreek immediately gave me a headache. I seem to have such sensitive reactions to this stuff! So, here I am trying some PM. My idea for myself is to start out extremely slow so my body doesn't freak out. I am trying 1 capsule in the morning and 1 at night for the first half of my cycle. Then the 2nd month I will try the recommended 2 in the morning and 2 at night.
I agree with you, I want to avoid negative side effects as much as possible!
As far as the soap, I've read where other ladies have let the suds soak for a good 5-10 minutes (I have never tried this stuff myself) and then rinse off well. The cream could probably be applied morning and evening or whatever works out best for you.
Good luck dear, and keep us posted as to how things are going. Did you start a journal in the program pages? It's very helpful so you can remember what you tried, how you felt and if it worked or not. And it helps other ladies decide what they want to try.
Best wishes!

I guess its a matter of opinion but I wouldn't start a programme unless I was following recommended instructions, by this I mean St Herb recommend you take the first 2 pills on the first day of your period. Why take a chance of it not working with your body? Its all hormone related after all. You could go on with the blossom soap in shower and St herb cream for massage morning and night until your next period.

As for ramping it up, it doesn't work like that with PM. With St Herb you take 2 pills morning and evening for 15 days. The first 2 months are for tightening etc and month 3 & 4 are specifically when you expect to see growth.

Best of luck, try to remember if you are impatient and change things around chances are you will hinder your progess. You need to give your body time to adjust. All good things come to those who wait!

Thank you both for your replies! You were very helpful.

Unfortunately, I got an email yesterday from the person I bought the St.herb from saying that they *might* receive their shipment from overseas next week and then ship it to me. Nothing in the auction said anything about it being shipped from overseas... Needless to say, I don't want to wait. lol So I ordered a bottle of Full Potential from Deb on ebay. The more I thought about it, the more it makes sense. Full Potential seems to have less icky side-effects than St.herb, I can start it any day of my cycle, and it ships quicker. If this isn't strong enough for me, THEN I'll give the St.herb a try.

Tesa, I haven't started a journal yet but I'm definitely going to as soon as I start my regimen! I think I'll also take some "before" pictures... Not sure if I'll post them unless I see results, which I'm very confident that I will! I have a good feeling about it. :)

I really am trying to be patient. It's just been hard because I've been wanting to start this stuff for about a month now but was waiting till my next period for St.herb. Then I found out about the PM cream and the Blossom-s soap so I'm waiting for those too now. lol Very eager to get started. I had to force myself to be more patient the first time I tried NBE and I did pretty well! Unfortunately it didn't really work for me. Keeping my fingers crossed that this does!

Thanks again! I'll keep you all updated!
