'the excellence of public transport', what melbourne were you in fram, the public transport here is terrible i couldnt imagine a worse setup, especially with the tickets and the prices
I'm really sorry. I didn't have a train that was not on time. I never waited for more than 20 minutes for a train (and I was in Greenvale - Broadmeadows, minutes from the Airport, far away..).
The trams were perfect, frequent.
And extremely clean.
And all the volunteers, spectators and participants to the Games had free travel.

its alright but its not a permanant thing, they were quite good during the games except of the qtr finals night where i had to walk for 40 minutes to get home cos there was no more trains
