Regarding our cooling pad

To the bulldoggers who wanted the name and number of the poodle woman who made the 28" x 22" cooling pad that Waylon was sitting on in Las Vegas, if you will email me I can give it to you. fjzalud@netzero.net. Or can someone tell me if it is OK to post her name and number? If anyone else is in need of a really good cooling pad for the crate and/or as a pad to lay on when the dog is either warm or excited it is very effective.

The poodle people love this particular pad because it stays dry but cool (up to 3 days) on the solid colored side so the poodle coat doesn't get wet when the poodles sit or lay on it.

After all our years in Bulldogs, I just learned that it is the tummy and feet that we need to keep cool and that we should be spraying their tummies and bottom of their feet with the spray bottle to cool them off when warm or excited.

For those of you with bulldogs that get excited at the shows and tend to pant alot, this pad really helped Waylon alot along with spraying his tummy instead of his mouth.

The poodle lady also told me that at home I should put the pad on the floor with a fan next to it, along with a bowl of ice water next to it. That way the dog is learning to work out of his own problem when he gets warm or excited. Waylon has learned at home to sit or lay on the cool pad now in front of the fan. So at the show we just duplicate the process. He sat or laid on the pad in Vegas very contented.

She said I have been a large part of his problem in the past and need to knock off enabling him at the shows by fussing over him so much.
