As most of you know, we too are new, and have just had our first litter out of our Ch.Clarks Duchess of Westbury x Ch. Adamant Warlock. We did our homework, and studied, and asked questions of local breeders, read everything in print and online. Had a eventless c-section. Got home and started feeding every two hours, for 45 minutes! which was fine until the second day when her colostrum ended and her milk came in! Oh, they were happy fat little babies, slept like no tommorow, but when we helped momma poop em...... Can you say poop cannons?!?! So we too consulted our vet(on speed dial) and were told we were overfeeding. Since that, we have jumped the hurdles that we had come our way, but we do have people that we know, close to us, who would drop what they are doing to come to our home and help. We have a bulldog vet and reproductive specialty team, as well as a close (less than 5 min, when Kim drives) Emergency vet, who at my urgings, has becomed familiar with bulldogisms. Are we experts? NO! Will our litter be problem free? NO! But as I have been heard to say from time to time, either when talking to breeders, pet owners, or prospective rescue adoptees; we tend to be abit zealous about the breed, because its just that important. Sorry if we come off as mean, but after you have your babies moved on to their new homes; you will have a whole new prospective on bulldog breeding, and puppy raising. I know we do. Always here to help, never hesitate to ask.

Perserverance isn't a long race.
It's a series of short races,
ran one after the other.
