not the coach, but know what he has coming up. I don't even have a 98 kid, so beleive what you want. ask around and you will be comfortable with what you hear. he is not a coach that will tell you something and change his mind. ask ds he'll tell you he is not going to shorten the bench and than look out. heard him talk to other's about it... or ask other parents and you will be suprised with what year hear...

5:08 is pretending he doesn't have a 98 kid so he can bash DS. Typical. If you want a good coach, go to DS (Devils 98). There is a reason those kids play so well.

You guys shouldn't be listening to any of the BS on this site, or use this site to make decisions for your kids. If you want to know about DS, call him or talk to some of his parents. It's that simple. Any coach can tell you whatever you want to hear. DS has principals and his actions speak louder than words. Better still, you can watch his games and see for yourself. He's in the playoffs starting this week.

RA runs a good camp for AA players, his biggest problem is that no nyhl players came to his skate. Why?? because he did not coach a novice select team, just a new kid on the block in the 98 world. next season will be different, speculations . . 3 players coming from DD 1 player from rangers and goalie from the panthers.

RA originally applied for Amesbury Attack A team next season ( wanting to keep his core ) The TR GM asked him back and introduced him to some parents from other teams.
I know the parents who are coming have asperations for their children to do well with the hopes of building a strong team that may keep the Nats on their toes. lets see how it works out.

For those of you bantering over the kids and development let me offer you some info.

The kids absolutely have to want to "develop", and I believe that they originally did want to, but as they year has progressed, and they have come to realize what the oganization is all about, how some are treated as the "golden-one" and allowed to do whatever they wish, they have become resentful.

Not to mention probably having heard how their parents have spoken about the organization, and what the real motivation behind the team was.

Lastly though, the only way the kids are going to "develop" is if they put in the extra time required to do so. The only way that would happen is for their parents to actually bring them out to the practices so they can spend time working as a team, practicing the plays that they coach needs them execute during games that will assist them in winning.

As nine year-olds, they rely on their parents to ensure that they are making it out to practices. Without that, wouldn't you say it pretty hard for any "development" to occur?

There are too many friends with these Royal's teams. I really feel for the kids coming into this for the 99s. It will be the same thing all over again. Heard another Vaughn team coming in. I hope they look at the kids at tryouts instead of committing to all players before hand.
