I know BW is coach of the Ter.

Post above talks about BM coaching Senators and Terriers captain going to Senators.

That is why I asked who BM is.

RT was AAA last season. Don't kid yourself.

There are many many kids playing AAA that were not as good as he was at the start of last season.

OH Yeah, and teams / coaches give verbal commitments and as soon as someone better comes along at the tryouts they go back on their word. So it works both ways.

amazing, minor hockey and parents that is...this team like two other teams who finished high in the regular season, ie: Toros and Rangers. Life is/was good as long as teams are winning and they all fall to pieces if they lose, assuming you listen to the sh*t on here and the scuttlebutt in the rinks. Welcome Terriers- wait until you start hearing all the crap that VR and Toros have gone thru. Next week it will be the Royals and then The Braves, assuming Braves win the series....a good coach who offers a committment will keep his word, after all that's all they got at the end of the day, and bad news and broken promises spread faster than wildfire...

people, woory about your own kid and not where so and so's kid is going, if the coach is good and the team/parents and all the pieces are a good fit, why change for the unknown, at the thought or prospect of going AAA-whoopdedoo.... or staying in AA, to a team of lower calibre, that one always surpises me????

do what makes sense for your kid...relax it's supposed to be fun

Considering the 'A' division is weaker with several teams moving to AA, are the 97A Terriers strong enough to win the OMHA championship this year?

And who will they be playing?

Nobody from Orillia went to AAA off that Silver Stick team. I wasn't referring to Cooksville novice 97s they simply weren't that good.

That was a question did nobody from that Orillia team go AAA. Certainly their captain #9 in novice on de was more than capable.

Can't imagine they are as strong as they were in 06 without these three, although I thought they had a much deeper team than us at the time and a well balanced squad. Would love to play Orillia at Silver Stick Regional finals for the third straight year, 97s in 06 (3-2 OT loss), 98s in 07(9-4 win) and hopefully again this year for the rubber match.
