Jets- recruited poorly, will not make playoffs, team is weak

West Mall will still be low in the bottom after loosing a goalie, still lack fire power and a real head coach

Canucks were okay last year and with their pickups from the Royals should do fine. If the coach can keep the twins happy, they'll play well.

doesn't the coach have a son on the team that is a goalie, say no more. I would never bring my son to a team like this, the writing is totally on the wall in these situations

if you mean the sharks yes it is true. the team has a few excellent skaters. I am sure things will go well, but goaltending will be interesting.
If you mean the av they have great systems so goaltending will not be taxed.

Sharks coach wants to have goalies share 50 / 50 or so he has said many times.

No issues.....great coaching with no kids on the team. They'll have a big development year for sure.

there are several AA goalies that do not belong playing AA, literally with no experience, and some from houseleague to AA, what are coaches thinking?all you have to do is look at the terriers goalies from last year and they were awful, having a dad as a coach doesnt sound like a good situation to me, but could be fair see how it goes

North Stars picked up the Streetsville kid who was asked out to AAA tryouts. Both goalies will be strong for N.S. and can play any game regualr season or playoffs.

Free trip and all still, couldnt field any quality players. Coach will be way over his head this year in Bantam

Tigers are you joking? They won't even make playoffs. Coach has no ambition and the kids they picked up are all house league or A. Goaltending will be an issue as well.

Saw the Av's, they don't even have a full team yet. Same goalie's as last year.

Should be interesting to see how they do this year.

1-coaches should look hard there is a lot of talent out there.
2-coaches should learn to develop players as well as teams and they would not lose there players.
3-clinics are available for coaches as well, please help yourselves.

royals will be first in the west, no competition from any teams, most improved will be huskies and the rest will stay the same ezcluding the Panthers, their time is over, with 7 players moved on to AAA, that only leaves left overs, and the left overs added to the IceDog rejects, with poor coaching will make them possibly last playoff spot

both coaches don't have a son on the team. they picked what was best for the club. should be interseting. The terries coach did a great job with west mall midget team.

caught the second day of the tryouts and jets had great skaters

this year looks good, all teams did homework and tightend up nicely, wich ever team you are on will be competitive, it seems like it toolk 6 yrs to devolpe and spread the boys out evenly

good observation. I guess good systems and sound fundamentals will make a big difference.

It will take a year to get this team going again..

They had 3 years with the same kids and barely made playoffs. What makes you think this coach can build a playoff team with 2 new goalies and a bunch of A players. This org. doesn't care about winning more about fun.

Royals and North Stars are the early favourites for sure.

cant see anyone beating royals next year.

They got lucky to get by the NS this year, lost 2 games 6-0 and 4-0, received last minute breaks in 2 games to obtain a 2-2 tie and 3-2 win, and won game six b'cos top 2 forwards from NS were suspended. The NS have upgraded their team big time. We'll have to wait and see if the Royals are as good as they think they are.
