If my websurfing skills are reliable, TPH looks like an elite spring team out of Tenessee; been together since early April.

TPH are the Toronto Titans and some throw in. Played in the ProHockey tournament last weekend. Blown out every game.

I would love to see the game between the Rink Rats and Wild Dogz, both teams seem to have swapped some players for next year and there is some hate on both teams.

TPH are an organization staffed by some ex-NHLers...talked to some parents last year...when some of the expat Canucks finished playing in the NHL for the Predators, they decided to put down roots and introduce hockey to the country and western folks.

They tend to draw from a number of states, and based on last year anyway, all the teams they brought up here were quite good and very competitive.

2:22pm You are correct. They do not play one another in the round robin, but they both face a GTHL AA opponent. The pressure is on both these AAA clubs to perform. The NET 54 Will be watching!!!! Anything less than a blow out would be a disgrace!!!!

FYI - no hatred at all between Rebels & Kings players - - just looking forward to playing against onanother in a game with some extra friendly rivalry. Don't always assume the worst.

I would not be too surprised if the Royals beat the Kings or Rebels this weekend. They have players that were playing AAA last year and realized that AAA was not all it was talked up to be. The Royals will not be pressured to win the games as will the Kings and Rebels and by BIG scores.

Let's GO ROYALS, make all the A and AA teams proud and put a on spanking to the KINGS. Even a 1-2 goal loss to the Kings would be considered a WIN for the Royals.

Guys take it easy. You are all blowing this way out of proportion. This is just summer hockey. In fact the Royals will not even have their entire team there. They will only have 8 or 9 kids, and the rest they are getting from other AA clubs. Good luck to both teams, I am sure it will be an entertaining game.

Yes, the Royals may only be a summer team with 8-9 regulars on the team but the Kings will field a full winter team for this tournament and if the Royals were to pull off a victory

Yes if the Royals pulled off the win, the sky would still be blue, and the grass would still be green. ITS JUST MINOR HOCKEY!!!!

Sounds to me like the Royals are laying the groundwork for excuses in case they lose. This Royals spring team is actually better than its regular team. Virtually all the Royals top players are on it and the supporting cast are strong AA players.

Hey, it's just 'spring hockey'.....most of these teams are just trying to come together as a team. Coaches trying to figure out who plays well together, etc.

What about the Kings? Will they be fielding their full fall roster? At this time of year, sometimes it's 'acceptable' to miss a game, unlike the winter season.

Kings WILL have ALL their players in this tournament. Why would anyone miss this tournament winning opportunity. This would go well with the 97 A championship they won at last years tournament.
