They got rid of their best scorer and they have recruited no new players. I think this team is in decline and I upset that I signed with them. The summer practices are not working.

Do not bother with this thread, LP's coach has done his homework and recruited some good players. MED's coach is a lame duck coach and just does not know the requirements to build a high quality team.

nice try. MV team is a close knit bunch. All parents close. Great family oriented coaches. Doesn't matter if they don't win a game. Kids are having fun. We miss the family who moved on to LP.

AC's Dad did not have the guts to leave on his own, he was told that his son was not guaranteed a spot on the team so he went on to CL and was offered a spot then he went to LP where he was offered a spot and he took it good move on dad's part.

Best 2000 Gold player played up a year with MV last year. He will do as he pleases this year at his own level! MV fill do just fine!!!

Not sure but from what I’m hearing the head coach is looking for a new manager, trainer, and 2 new assistant coaches everybody but him can you say abandon ship while you can

If they should leave like you're suggesting please tell us what teams the players should go to. LP is full PC maybe 1 or 2 spots AP will be next years version of CL or CL which will be even weaker than this year.

I don’t know, the new manager for next year tried to get me to commit for next year but he had no information about development who were the new coaches what ice time they had for next year looks like he is trying to sell a lot of nothing you would think that these things would be set already. Must have been a fall out with in the coaching staff if they are all leaving ??

tell us about the situation in Meadowvale. we are thinking of going to the tryout. we have several friends on the team who tell us it is a great group of families.

like any team you hear the parents complaining all the time. The kids on this team like being together and having fun too. NOT LIKE THE PARENTS. They think there kid is the next one. Let them have FUN seven years old for heavens sake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why are the assistant coaches leaving? That's a tough one. I don't beleive this one is true.
Why did the family leave last year? Only 1 person can answer that.
Why did the kid leave in the playoffs? Again, only parents of the child can answer that.

that one kid left because the father was pressuring him and that his son got the MVP last year in selectsix it went to the fathers head. Thought him kid was the best on the team.

it is true, he won the MVP. This year he wasn't even in the top 5 players. I don't blame dad for being upset, he is a competitive guy and it must have been hard for him to swallow. I would prefer for him to handle the dressing room incident a little better. my son was very upset having witnessed it.

Dads ego got hurt when at tryouts last year he though his kid was good enough to play novice gold and got cut.

- the major issue we have with most dressing rooms is they are too small, with the exception of Powerade center which are too big. Pine point arena is quite interesting with the urinal in the middle of the room. Personally, I prefer teen ranch, but I do have a problem hearing the coach talking from the other end of the room.

- that's none of your business, but I'll answer anyway. I actually DO desire more practices where it's just me and the yummie mummies watching the weekday practices. but then again, i'm not usually watching the hockey at those practices.
