97aa defensive teams

It seams that teams like humber valley and streetsvile have been winning games due to thier defensive plays possibly because they play the trap. Coaches that teach this style of play at an early age possibly inhibit a players growth lacking creativity. Sure the team wins games but are players encouraged to take chances especially defensemen. Judging from the standings both streetsville and humbervalley sit higher in the standings than the eagles who have more goals for than both these teams. which leads me to beleave eagle players are given more freedom to take chances where no system is in place example the trap, end result team does not win alot of games but players develop to thier ability. no offense to either humbervalley streetsville or eagles all great teams. would changing goalies and defensemen between these teams make a difference or is it just eagles luck that they lose a lot of close games.
